Veteran's Gardens
How Your Gift Helps Veterans and Families
Veterans work together to plant and care for the garden throughout the growing season. The garden provides a peaceful space where veterans can rebuild community, purpose, and connection. At the end of the season, all produce is donated to local food pantries.
Your gift helps provide:
- Seeds and starter plants
- Care and maintenance for the garden
- Gardening tools and equipment
- A peaceful space for veterans to connect and heal

Gary Wend Memorial Gardens
A Community Sanctuary for Healing
The Gary Wend Memorial Garden is a beautiful outdoor space established in 2021 and made freely available to the community. It is a public resource for healing the wounds of grief and loss.
Open Access
The garden is open to the community to visit at any time for silence, reflection, and prayer.
Leave a Memorial
We invite you to bring a painted rock and place it within the garden as a lasting, personal remembrance of a loved one.
A Living Tribute
The garden blooms from May to September, honoring the memory of Gary Wend, a Licensed Therapist for 46 years who helped serve the Grace community and tragically passed during covid.

Meet Our Founder
Our "Pay It Forward" Story
"The needs today are greater than ever! We can not continue our mission without your help! I don't want to ever turn someone away because their lack of resources. And I vow that I won't!"
In 2009 our founder, Gail "Suzanne" Sebree, sat in a church library and welcomed people in to sit down and share their stories, their troubles. As a licensed professional counselor, her heart longed to help those who were falling through the cracks. Those without resources.
There are many people out there who are struggling and have no place to turn. We aim to be that safe space where they can receive the help they need, in person or online through virtual counseling services.
